Welcome,

I’m Alicia Garstka, M.A., and I’m thrilled to have you here. With over ten years of experience as a classroom teacher and literacy & reading specialist, I’ve had the pleasure of working with students in both elementary and middle school settings, as well as offering private tutoring to students with reading disabilities. In 2024, I earned a certificate in dyslexia from the University of Florida, one of the few programs in the United States accredited by the International Dyslexia Association. This advanced training has deepened my expertise in helping students with dyslexia and other literacy challenges through dyslexia tutoring services.

I’m passionate about creating personalized, research-based solutions to help students not only overcome their struggles, but also build confidence in their reading abilities and THRIVE, even beyond our time together! I strive to empower families, providing them with the tools and guidance to support their children's literacy journey every step of the way.

Outside of my work with summer tutoring, I’m a proud mom of two, a loving wife, an avid reader, and an adventurer at heart. I look forward to working with you and your family to help your child reach their full potential!
